This 9-lb. lighter engine has: Mikuni TM 38 Flatslide carbs; Polaris Variable Exhaust System; digital CDI with Throttle Position Sensors (TPS) and water temperature sensor; fuel switch selector with light in tach; thermostat and bypass system; electric start and quiet exhaust system. Engine provides improved fuel economy, particularly at trail speeds. Lighter than previous Indy XLT Touring. Gen II styling with injection-molded TPO hood and new flared windshield.
